What is it?
SmashThis is a series of limited edition letterpress prints designed by various designers, printed and distributed by Athenaeum Press. How does it work?Artists and designers are invited to submit artwork for a print. Previous SmashThis contributors jury each design and decide if they should be printed. When a design is chosen, it is printed and numbered in a limited edition. The designer gets 5 of their own prints, and gets to choose 5 other prints from any of the other participating artists, in exchange for Athenaeum selling the remaining prints. How do I submit artwork?
Easy. Download one of the templates below to build your file. Designs should be about 6x9" on a 9x12" sheet. Use up to 3 colors. Do something awesome.
Files or questions can be emailed to smashthis[at]athenaeumpress.com. Large files (over 10 mb) should be sent as jpg or pdf for review. |
